Jack Ma is Right, I am a Monkey!
Discovering the Lesson from Jack Ma
I recently came across a quote from Jack Ma, the richest man in China. He said, “If you put a banana and money in front of a monkey, the monkey will choose the banana because the monkey doesn’t know that money can buy a lot of bananas.” This made me think about my choices in life. Jack Ma also said that if you offer people a job and a business opportunity, most people will choose the job because they don’t realize that owning a business can make more money than a salary.
I realized that, in many ways, I have been like the monkey choosing the banana. I have always focused on working for a salary, not thinking about the bigger opportunities that could bring more success and happiness.
Learning to See the Bigger Picture
Jack Ma pointed out that one reason people remain poor is that they aren’t trained to recognize entrepreneurial opportunities. We spend a lot of time in school learning to work for a salary rather than learning how to work for ourselves. This is so true. School taught me many things, but it didn’t teach me how to think like a business owner.
Our teachers and the school curriculum need to change. They should teach us about the benefits of running our own businesses and thinking beyond just working for a paycheck. Understanding that profit is better than wages is a big step. Wages can support us, but profits can make us rich.
Finding My Own Path with AI and Web Development
As I reflect on Jack Ma’s words, I see that programming, AI, and web development are my opportunities – my “monkeys.” These skills are in high demand and can open doors to creating my own business. With AI, I can build smart applications that solve real problems. Web development allows me to create websites and online stores. These skills can help me build a business rather than just working for someone else’s business.
I have started learning more about these fields, and I can already see the potential. By combining programming, AI, and web development, I can create innovative solutions that people need. Instead of choosing the banana (a regular job), I’m starting to see the value in choosing the money (business opportunities).
Aiming for a Bigger Banana Plantation by 2025
Looking ahead, my goal is to build a larger “banana plantation” by 2025. This means not just looking for a job, but creating a business that can grow and thrive. I want to use my skills in AI and web development to create something valuable, something that can generate profits and provide for my future.
Jack Ma’s words have inspired me to think bigger and aim higher. I don’t want to be the monkey that only sees the banana in front of me. I want to be the person who sees the potential of money to buy many bananas. By focusing on learning, growing, and building my own business, I believe I can achieve this goal.
So, here’s to thinking bigger, aiming higher, and creating a future where we choose the money and not just the banana. Jack Ma is right – it’s time to recognize the bigger opportunities and go after them!
